Roger Annis, MD

Dr. Roger Annis was raised in Battle Creek MI, Long Island NY,and Ft. Wayne IN. He attended Michigan State University for his undergraduate and Indiana University, Indianapolis for his medical school studies. His first practice was in St. Johns with Dr. Jim Grost, 1985-1988. He then took over a practice in Lansing for 2 years, and in 1991 joined Holt Family Practice where he worked for 31 years. He is thrilled to be back practicing in his hometown.
He married his college sweetheart, Kathy Hagenbuch, in 1981, and has 3 daughters, 1 son-in-law, and (currently) 2 cats.
He likes music and plays saxophone and bass clarinet with the Meridian Community Band. He is the treasurer for the Home School Music Association (they homeschooled their 3 kids). He likes bike riding, swimming, reading, playing cards, and spending time with his family. The Annis’ are members of First Baptist Church here in St. Johns.
