Josh Schad is a board-certified Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner and is excited to be providing care Clinton County Medical Center. He is passionate about building lasting relationships with his patients and partnering with them to achieve their best possible health. Joshua believes that great care starts with listening—taking the time to understand each person’s story, goals, and challenges.
With more than 20 years of healthcare experience, Josh brings a calm, steady approach to every visit. His diverse background includes roles in hospital, community, and correctional healthcare, giving him a broad perspective on the importance of accessible, consistent, and compassionate care. At Clinton County Medical Center, he provides care for adults across the lifespan, with clinical interests in chronic disease management and infectious disease.
Josh earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Spring Arbor University in 2014 and is nationally certified as an Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. His philosophy of care is rooted in respect, communication, and a genuine commitment to improving the health of the community he serves.
When he’s not in the clinic, Joshua enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He enjoys mountain biking, hiking, hunting, target shooting, gardening and attending local sporting events.
