SUBOXONE® Program

Drug Addiction Help in St. Johns, MI and Clinton County

By treating the chemical, physical and mental aspects that are involved in opioid addiction, the SUBOXONE® program sets each patient up for success and a drug-free future.

What is the SUBOXONE® Program?

The SUBOXONE® Program at Clinton County Medical Center in St. Johns is a medication-assisted treatment for opioid addiction. It uses a whole-patient approach of medication, weekly counseling and monthly visits with a physician and/or nurse. Our SUBOXONE® team works one-on-one with each patient to ensure a strong recovery from opioid addiction and create a plan for living a drug-free lifestyle.

SUBOXONE®

SUBOXONE® is a prescription medicine used to treat adults who are dependent on either prescription or illegal opioids (morphine, codeine, OxyCotin®, Vicodin®, heroin, etc.). It must be used under the supervision of a qualified doctor, who will determine the correct dosage to begin your recovery journey.

Provider / Nurse Appointments

CCMC requires patients in the SUBOXONE® program to meet with their physician and/or nurse at least once every month to discuss their progress and ensure there are no adverse reactions to the medication. Through these regular appointments, you and your physician determine a schedule to taper your SUBOXONE® dosage.

Weekly Counseling

The mental aspect of addiction can be one of the hardest parts to overcome. In order to ensure our patients have the best chances of recovery, CCMC Psychological Services offers weekly counseling with a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
